I’d like to say things are fabulous! But they’re just about the same. Not a bad thing, I guess, but no new adventures from the Anthony house these days.
Christmas decorations are finally all put away and snug in it’s bed until next year. The cleaning is still in progress.
The cold of winter is here and, although it isn’t as cold as a lot of the country, it’s still cold. Especially downstairs. The little heater down there does a good job of heating the place up, but I really don’t like to have it running all day.
Since we’ve moved here I’ve had my scrapbook stuff downstairs. It’s a nice big room where we spend the evenings most of the time. It was nice to sit there by the window facing the back yard and watch the sun rise.
Annabell usually kept me company, the sound of her sitting behind me amid a pile of toys, whining, wanting to play.
She would bring me her rope every morning and if I ignored here too long she would pout, whining and pushing the rope against my leg, urging me to tug.
Now that I’ve moved this upstairs, she hasn’t bothered me with the rope. There’s no carpet to provide traction upstairs. She does, however, sit on the arm of the couch right behind me and whine.
You would think that she was SO neglected!
I’m still getting things organized, but I think it will be good scrappin’ in my new spot.
