Can we slow down just a little?

Yesterday Mary and I headed down to the Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah to have her picture done. She’s 14 now, 8th grade and growing up way too fast.

I wish I could have bought a lot more of the poses, but we got two different ones that were Mary’s favorites.

I really enjoyed watching her pose for the photographer. She really is very shy and I thought she was going to be too nervous to do this, but she was wonderful! I asked her beforehand if she wanted me to stay away… far away… from the action so she wasn’t nervous with me there, but she said she was fine.

I’m looking forward to the end of the week! I’ll be going to scrapbook the day away with a bunch of other crazy scrappers. I need to get that stuff organized so I can actually get something done while I’m there.

And Christmas is coming up SO fast! Oh. my. gosh! Well, it’s going to be slim pickins this year, but that’s okay. I just can’t believe how fast the time is going. The days fly by and there is so much I want to do; that I need to do, and it just doesn’t seem to get done.

So, maybe I should get off the computer and get busy, huh?
