This is our friend, Lucky, on the road from Pennsylvania to Savannah! Her people are moving to Florida and, unfortunately, they can’t take Lucky with them. She coming to live with us! Yes, we have a pet menagerie and it’s going to be fun!
We met Lucky when we visited Rob and Melissa a year ago. Remember?
Mary was ecstatic to learn that Lucky was on her way here! Of course, it was a really great way to see Rob and Melissa, too. They had to stop here and visit for just a little while!
We have some adjustments to make to accommodate the pets, but it will all work out. Rusty is being somewhat of an ass. He’s a Chihuahua. He had to growl at Lucky when she came in and Lucky did not like that. There was a scuffle, but all is well.
Oreo got the surprise of his life last night. He saw Lucky in her kennel and was slowly walking toward her. He’s always curious. Lucky spotted him and let out a huge WOOF! and that cat disappeared into thin air! All we heard was the rumble of cat feet on what stairs they connected with as he high-tailed it upstairs.
Poor Oreo.
We did learn about her rather impressive WOOF, though. No one’s coming through that door without permission, now, boy!
Rob and Melissa spent the night, we had a really nice, albeit short, visit, and they were on their way in the morning, heading south for the beginning of the next chapter in their life’s adventure.
We love you both! Looking forward to seeing you in your new home soon! Get those boxes unpacked!

I JUST got caught up on my blog reading and saw this super sweet post! I love you guys and it was fabulous to see you again! Though we still aren't completely unpacked (does that ever really happen?) we are making a dent and everything is livable :-) We both want to thank you so much for all you did for us during our move! You are the best friend a girl could have! ♥
